Symptoms of burglary by the door lock
Your door lock can always successfully resist thieves, but there are often signs that thieves may attack your lock. One sign is that your door lock may be broken. If you notice this and ignore it, you may put your home in great danger, for a few reasons behind it. First, thieves trying to break into are now more successful than ever before, simply because they are familiar with your lock and it no longer functions as ever.
However, being able to understand and discover that the door lock is only part of the equation. Another part of the equation is the ability to understand the factors that can cause damage to the door lock. One of the most common ways in which a door lock can be destroyed is to apply excessive force. This may be inadvertently committed by some homeowners, but thieves are often deliberate because they try to enter your home.
In this case, it's best to replace your door lock so that if the thief knocks on the door again (they usually don't knock on the door), they will encounter a new lock that they are not familiar with. This may not sound like an effective security measure, but it will definitely get the job done.
